I’m Dave Alter, an artist with a background in art, college-based creative study, and a range of practical art projects. My work is inspired by everyday beauty, expressive detail, colour, texture, and the moments that often go unnoticed. Through AlterImages, I share original and creative pieces designed to bring personality, atmosphere, and inspiration into homes, workspaces, and personal collections.

My artistic journey has been shaped by both education and hands-on experience. From studying art techniques to developing project-based work, I have explored different ways of using images to communicate mood, meaning, and emotion. Digital photography has become one of my favourite ways to capture the world, allowing me to preserve moments and turn them into lasting artwork.
